AI Australia: Human Rights Education Guide
This section of AI Australia's website provides resources that may be freely downloaded and distributed for educational purposes. Includes resources for learning about refugees and asylum-seekers, for learning about human rights, as well as links to other Australian NGO sites dealing with human rights education.

Amnesty Videos
The Amnesty Online Shop also includes Amnesty International videos. Videos are a great way to introduce human rights issues into the classroom and videos like Candle of Hope, Cry for Justice and Light in the Darkness have proven to be extremely popular with teachers across the country. First Steps: A Manual for Starting Human Rights Education (HREA link)
The Manual is directed towards teachers with little or no experience in teaching human rights. The resource is divided into several sections, including the background for human rights education; tools for teaching human rights (including teaching methods, lesson development, evaluation and organisation of training seminars); sample lessons; key human rights documents; and other resources for promoting human rights education.

UN Cyberschool Bus
UN materials for teaching children and youth of different ages about UN activies, including human rights issues. Includes background information, materials for teaching, and interactive games.

Human Rights Education Associates
The HRE Library contains over 1000 full-text guides, curricula, textbooks and other documents that can be used for both formal and non-formal education in human rights.

Human Rights Resource Center
The Human Rights Resource Center makes excellent HRE resources produced by non-profit organizations and independent publishers accessible to all. These resources include more than 50 curricula, guides, videos, documents, and other educational aids.

Oxfam Canada - Educational Resources
A collection of teaching materials on world issues topics. Some are general, while others are designed for specific grade and subjects to meet curriculum needs.

The People's Movement for Human Rights Education (PDHRE)
Founded in 1988, the People's Decade of Human Rights Education (PDHRE-International) is a non-profit, international service organization that works directly and indirectly with its network of affiliates — primarily women's and social justice organizations — to develop and advance pedagogies for human rights education relevant to people's daily lives in the context of their struggles for social and economic justice and democracy.
