I am a Professor at the Faculty of Law, McGill University where I co-direct the Centre for Human Rights and Legal Pluralism. My teaching and research revolve around a range of issues related to protection and promotion of human rights at the international level. I have worked within and with civil society organization within Canada and across the world. Most of my ongoing work with local and global civil society organizations revolve around work related to human rights and social justice I have extensive experience of serving on the Board of civil society organizations. My experience and expertise on matters related to governance allows me to contribute to strengthening governance structure of the organizations I am involved with.
