Nowruz with a Human Rights Twist

The Persian holiday Nowruz (نوروز‎‎ – new day) is an ancient holiday celebrated on March 20th, the first day of spring, to welcome in the new year. 

This holiday presents an opporunity to remember courageous prisoners of conscience in Iran, write letters on their behalf, and send Nowruz greetings to them or to their families. You are invited to host a Nowruz event and send cards with simple Norwuz greetings such as “Nowruz mobarak” نوروز مبارک
