I have over a decade of experience with in the aid sector, with the last ten years having been focused on advocating and guiding the evolution of PSEA/Safeguarding throughout the humanitarian and development sector. My career has taken me through Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and South East Asia, working for small INGOs, the Red Cross, and the United Nations. Throughout my career, my passion has been linked to my committment to human rights and the rule of law.
Further, during my time as Founder of Report the Abuse, which was the first NGO created to advocate for protecting aid personnel from sexual harassment and sexual violence, I was responsible for convening and reporting to the Board of Directors. More recently in my career, I’ve have further responsibilities reporting to Boards of Directors, supporting the development of Board Strategies, organisational strategies, and reducing organisational risk.
Between my experience within the aid sector and my specialisation in Safeguarding, I do believe I would be an asset to the Board of Directors. It would be an honour to serve an organisation of such magnitude.
