Grade 9 Citizenship students in Mr. Ackerson’s class will learn about human rights abuses and injustices for activists in several case studies happening today across the world, and work to be voices for positive change by writing letters to various offices, governments, and people in power to point out the gross abuses of human rights in order to help work to free the activists from their oppression and unlawful incarceration.
